25 Weeks

Best moment this week:  Going to water aerobics....it was my first time, and I had a blast!  Thanks Andrea for joining me!  I'm excited to incorporate this into my weekly schedule.  

Sleep:  I've been sleeping really deep and am still having  vivid dreams.  I've been waking up with headaches lately.  I recently had an appointment with my midwife and my blood pressure is fine so I'm still trying to find the culprit....may just be hormones.  

Movement:  Some days I feel a lot and other days not as much.  It's concerns me sometimes but it seems that just as I'm starting to worry I feel baby move.          

Food cravings:  Lately I've been on a fro-yo kick, but that may just be because there's a new fro-yo place in town and it seems healthier than other sweets I want to eat (like a Krispy Kreme doughnut, haha).   

Gender:  Unknown

What I miss:  Being able to wear my pre-pregnancy clothes.  I thought I would be able to wear some of my regular non-maternity clothes pretty far into the pregnancy but they're not as comfortable as my maternity wear.           

What I am looking forward to:  Getting my glucose screening over with!  Hope I don't have gestational diabetes....but if I do, it's not the end of the world.   I'll just have to work on keeping it manageable.   

Milestones:  Baby's brainwave patterns are beginning to develop which means that he/she is able to remember things, like the sound of my voice.....how exciting!!  

Baby Size:  rutabaga  

Weekly Wisdom:  Comfortable walking shoes that have good arch support are a must (and it's even better if your shoes have a little give in them for when you start to swell).....it makes a difference, especially at the end of the day if you've been on your feet alot.
